Then I can help the others out with their shots.

29th April

Here's the life drawing from Yesterday, didn't have time to scan it in before.

Today I continued working on the breakdowns.
Thinking of adding a blink in the last head turn as he looks back to the empty chair.

Anyway this is my shot as of 12:30 today (May add another video If I add a lot more by the end of the day)

Decided to do a progress checklist of our current shots we are working on

(Not entirely sure about Cade as he hasn't been in since I saw him at course in the holidays)

Flash then decided to crash while I was saving earlier but I have redone most of it now.

28th April

Worked on starting the breakdowns,I can't spent any more time on the keys so I'm moving onto the inbetweens and breakdowns for this shot.

Changes had to be made to shot 11-13

The woman no longer awkwardly gets up and out of the way,she is no longer in frame.

This will be replaced with a shot of the woman's chair empty

Cades 2nd shot (shot 12) may change angle to break up the scene further and create distance between them.

(Also the boy would then be in profile ,making the walk cycle much easier for cade to get done in the time alotted)

20th April

Today I tried to figure out how to better the anticipation and movement, didn't get much done as I had a lot of trouble with it.

17th April

Today I tried sorting out the composition of the 11th shot,The old lady getting up from her chair was abit too odd to animate alongside the scythe swing.

I considered scrapping the scene and starting again with a low angle as the storyboards angles are quite flat.

I sort of compromised and settled on a slight dutch tilt to break up the shots that are too straight on.

This allowed me to keep my keyed out scene as otherwise I would have to rush to complete the film later on to catch up.

I have a few group meetings about the shot. Andrew didn't mind either way and Cade agreed with the Dutch tilt.

I personally felt the low angle was too much and made the son look powerful and the point of view part of it felt abit off as the lady isn't actually looking at him.

I talked with Andrew about adding a background of the chair to show she's gone.instead of her getting out of the chair awkwardly avoiding the scythe.

I may to readjust the settle so its back into frame.

16th April

Worked more on shot 11,scythe swing is looking alot better after doing the key frames on model, though I've run into some trouble with the draping parts of the sleeves when bent in the anticipating keys.

The swing is abit of of fram but I'll fix it before or after colouring by turning it into a symbol and move it all.

Tuesday, 14 April 2015

15th April

I worked more on shot 11,getting the scythe swing keys more on model and timed better.

Managed to finish one clean key of the son, although I'm not sure of his arm and hand form as the model sheet isn't too clear, Tirissala made minor changes to his look which I followed.

10th April

Finished inbetweening and coloured in shot06 today, had issues with the hairline colour as it wobbled way too much.

Managed to tone it back a bit but the onion skin wasn't much help with colour.

Also added the small details like the pearls as I had forgotten about them.

Oana showed me some things on after effects but it doesn't load onto the blog as it's over 100mb

Wednesday, 8 April 2015

9th April

Added jitter to still frames and put the movement on 2's and the jitter frames on 5's

There is some variance in line thickness, as flash changes brush size every time I zoom which is irritating when there are limited brush sizes.

I was working on this still as the other model sheets still haven't been completed.

Tuesday, 7 April 2015

8th April

Worked on more breakdowns and inbetweens as I can't work on other shot until the model sheets are finished.needs a few more inbetweens for the movement to be smoother as well as jittering frame.

Monday, 6 April 2015

2nd April

Today I worked on starting the first frame of the 6th shot.

I'm having trouble with line sizes and zooms in flash and how to get the old lady on model now that its complete.

We also had a meeting today to help members with staying on task.

We also had a lecture on studio procedures, which I will probably type up on monday or in the weekend.
